2017 DRAFT BUDGET

ImportantThe Board of Directors for the Tanglewood Homeowners Recreational Association (Association) has reviewed the Association’s financial condition and budget and is recommending a small increase in the monthly assessment for 2017.

The Board of Directors invites your written comments on this proposed budget.  Please submit written comments by the close of business on September 1, 2016 so that comments can be distributed to the members of the Board for review prior to the September 7th Board meeting.  Please forward your written comments to the address at the bottom of this letter.  Please note that written responses will not be issued. You are also welcome to attend the September 7th Board meeting at the Galway Elementary School, 12612 Galway Drive, Silver Spring Maryland.  The meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. and there will be time available for those wishing to comment on the budget, however, the Board would prefer receiving your written comments in advance of September 7th.

The Board will adopt a final 2017 budget at their October 5, 2017 meeting.

 

Tanglewood is a dynamic and diverse community located in the eastern portion of Montgomery County, in Silver Spring, Maryland (near the intersection of Route 29 and Fairland Road). The Tanglewood community is comprised of 826 single family, townhouses, and condominium homes built in the mid 1980s. The community features, a swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball court, skateboard court, parks, and green space. The Tanglewood Homeowner’s Recreation Association is responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of the recreational facilities, the common areas, and green spaces. The Tanglewood community is comprised of smaller communities within the Tanglewood community.

Ashley Place is a community of townhouse owners within the Tanglewood community. The Ashley Place Homeowner’s Association is responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of the Ashley Place community. The Stockbridge is a community of condos within the Tanglewood community.

The Stockbridge Homeowner’s Association is responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of the Stockbridge community properties. The Tanglewood Homeowner’s Recreation Association is the umbrella organization responsible for the resources shared by the entire community
